As one of the pioneer companies, China Geo-Engineering Corporation had implemented several China-Aid borehole drilling projects in the early 1980’s. Ever since its establishment in 1998, China Geo-Guinea Mali Regional Company (‘the Company’) has been focusing on her business mainly in the Republic of Guinea and the Republic of Mali, as well developing new markets in neighboring countries, like Liberia and Sierra Leone.

The Company has contracted for numerous large works on dams, roads and bridges construction, borehole drilling，energy conservation and environmental protection, agricultural development and irrigation systems, water supply and sewage treatment, and has also been involved in gold explorations, transportation and logistics, real estate development, etc.

The Company, committed herself to the principle of “Honesty and Credible, Delivery of Quality and Mutual benefits”, has been carrying out businesses extensively with local governments and authorities and thereby harvested long-lasting friendship.

Through delivering quality works against to or ahead of schedules, the Company has received high comments from the Guinean and Malian Governments and the funding banks (including Africa Development Bank, West Africa Development Bank, Arabic Development Fund, KfW, etc.).

In May 2010, upon the approval by the State Council of China, the Company was integrated into China Energy Conversation and Environmental Protection Cooperation (“CECEP”), which extended its business scope to energy conversation, environmental protection and recyclable energy through completion the first “Lighting the Villages” solar power project in Kirina Village, Mali.

The Company's achievement attributes to the diligence and dedication of the 3000 local and expatriate employees, and thanks to China’s Open policy and the amicable international environment created by the precedent leaders, as well the right direction of the Chinese Economic Councils and the Embassies.

As a state-owned enterprise, the Company will shoulder the “Peaceful Rise” mission, to explore broader frontier for the “Go Global” strategy, and devote to the “China Dream”.
